Fun Film Fridays!

Today, we began watching the 1963 film adaptation of To Kill a Mockingbird. Each Fabulous Friday we will be watching the parts of the novel that we have read so far. Like all movie adaptations, not everything is 100% how it happens in the book; however, as this film was created three years after the publication of the novel, Lee oversaw some of the production and remarked on how grateful she was that the directors kept the story close to the text (as cited in the documentary Hey, Boo!)

Remember that you will need to pay close attention, as you will have a writing assignment by the end of the unit! (Hint: It'll be just like your first writing assignment for this unit!)
